We congratulate to the actor Milan Maric on the successful closing of the theater’s summer season by playing the main role next to the legendary actor Rade Serbedzija.

This year, the theater’s summer season ended successfully, and the play “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf” on island Brioni, Croatia, was one of those who received the best critics in the region. Directed by Lenka Vidova. 

With the following actors: Rade Sherbegia acted as George, Katarina Bystrovich Darvash in the roles of Marta, Milan Maric as NiIck and Romina Tonkovich as Honey.

The premiere took place on July 29th at Brioni!

About the play:

Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf is a play by Edward Albee first staged in 1962. It examines the complexities of the marriage of a middle-aged couple, Martha and George. Late one evening, after a university faculty party, they receive an unwitting younger couple, Nick and Honey, as guests, and draw them into their bitter and frustrated relationship.

He is internationally known for his roles in Hollywood films such as Snatch ( British crime comedy film written and directed by Guy Ritchie), role as Boris the Blade, for his recurring role as former Soviet Army General Dmitri Gredenko in Season 6 of TV action series 24….And many others supporting roles in films such as: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, X-Men: First Class, The Saint, In the Land of Blood and Honey, Mission: Impossible 2
