Stefan Kapicic has played more than 70 roles in theatre, film, and television however he is best known for his role as the iconic X-men character Colossus, in the record-breaking and Golden Globe nominated Marvel/Fox feature film “Deadpool” directed by Tim Miller and starring Ryan Reynolds.”Deadpool” was not only an instant Marvel-fan favorite, making it the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time. He’s was reprising his role of “Colossus” in a highly anticipated sequel of this powerful franchise”Deadpool 2″ .
He recently finished filming two seasons of Golden Globe and Emmy winning TV show for “AMC” named “Better Call Saul” in which he plays mysterious german called Casper. Also, his most recent work is a role of legendary Nikolai in a reboot of a record breaking video game “Call of Duty: Modern Warfare”. Character Nikolai is having a 100% likeness and a voice of Kapicic.
Kapicic is a Serbian actor, born in Cologne, Germany. He studied at one of the most respected drama schools in Europe, “Academy of Dramatic Arts” in Belgrade, Serbia. He made his feature film debut in 2003 with “Almost Totally Ordinary Story”. His breakout role was awarded “Best Young Actor” at the Nish Film Festival 2003. Feature film castings and offers immediately followed his successful debut. He went on to star in films such as: “The Cordon” by Goran Markovic, “Street Walker” by K. Djordjevic, “Free Fall” by V. Djukelic, “Tears for Sale” by Uros Stojanovic was produced by Luc Besson,”One shot” by Robert Orhel, “Lost Prince” by Tom Rukavina, “AURORA” by Lazar Bodroza, “We Will be World Champions” by Darko Bajic, “The Brother’s Bloom” by “Star Wars” director Rian Johnson which stars Oscar-winners Adrien Brody and Rachel Weisz. He also co-starred in the Universal feature film “Big Miracle” with Drew Barrymore, Kristin Bell and John Krasinski for director Ken Kwapis.
He has also seen much success on the small screen. His television credits include guest- starring in: NETFLIX HIT SHOW “LOVE, DEATH & ROBOTS” , STARZ Network “Counterpart” David Mamet’s “The Unit” and Ridley Scott “Numb3rs”, Fox’s ”24” and NBC’s “The Event,” European shows “Ordinary People”, “I, Cheguevara”, ” Vratice Se Rode”, “Larin Izbor” first and second season, “Andrija & Andjelka”, “Stella”, and “Zora Dubrovacka.” etc.
His theatre credits include National Theatre “Hasanaga’s Wife”, directed by Award Winning director Jagos Markovic. Critics described his performance as “astonishing” and shortly after his theatre career took off. After he completed his studies, he went on to star in 50 plays including; “Merchant of Venice” by W. Shakespeare, “Electra” by Euripides, “Brothers Karamazov” by F.M. Dostojevsky directed by one of the most famous european directors Tomaz Pandur, “Death” by Woody Allen, “Prometheus” by Euripides, “Ressurection blues” by Arthur Miller, “Street Car Named Desire ” by Tennessee Williams, “Parasites”, “Skup”, “Phone Booth”. He starred in the theatre performance of “Romeo & Juliet”as Tybalt at internationaly recognised “Dubrovnik summer festival. “
